First I would like to say that this is the official game, just mega compressed.

Second I would like to say yes, this game in now Play4Free or Free2Play or w.e. but lookie here:

So the regular way that you would download and install Battleforge is download the 80mb file on the main website, which then downloads the 2.5gb file of the basic game, which then you launch via a bootstrapper to install all the other features which would add up to a total of 4.38GB worth of files you've downloaded.

But that's not all, look at the system requirements:

5.02. What are the hardware requirements for BattleForge?
Windows XP/Vista
DVD-Drive (not needed if you purchase the game as a digital download)
Internet connection: 512 kb (DSL oder Cable)
CPU: 1,8GHz AMD64 or Intel Core (or comparable)
512 MB (XP), 1 GB (Vista)
Graphics card with 128 MB, NVidia GeForce 6000-Series or better, ATI Radeon 9500 or better
Minimum 10 GB hard drive space for Installation
Display: minimum 1024x768

So yea, 10GB... you want to download 10GB or only 1.4GB No-brainers are win.

And it gets better. If you choose to download through the official site, your download speed gets capped and is not steady at all. I'm currently redownloading the game and i'm watching my download speed go 650kb/s to 160kb/s, 20kb/s, 450kb/s, etc. and keeps fluctuating staying sub-600kb/s usually.
I'm going to be uploading to Megaupload. on megaupload my speed stays at the highest it can be - 650kb/s. no changes, no sub-600kb/s speeds. So downloading it from here is much more reliable and faster than downloading from the official site

So all you have to do is download the compressed version of Battleforge via the MU links below, un-zip it, then run the setup.bat and you're done =)

BattleForge is a next-gen real time strategy game, in which you fight epic battles against evil along with your friends. What makes BattleForge special is that you can assemble your army yourself: the units, buildings and spells in BattleForge are represented by collectible cards that you can trade with other players.

This took me about 3 hours to compress, about 130 minutes to test and correct errors, and about 7 hours to upload (around 50kb/s speed upload...), So please just take 15 seconds to say thanks!


~My Upload speed is about 55-60kb/s. Trust me, you have no idea how long it takes to upload something at that speed.

This has been tested and runs on:
