open skuversion file and see what regional version do you have, for example I had
00002 at the end.
Appropriate to what you seen in skuversion folder, download current game patch.
Run the patch, if it says something about wrong region go to regedit (registry
edit) - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Sims and in both Sims 3 and Sims
3 World Adventures try to change SKU key into 2 or 1.
